How do I use GMI - CARe™ System?
First log into the system, through www.gmiweb.com. Select "CARe™ technology", select the login button, and enter your username and password.
To create a new case (work request)
1. To create a new case, select the appropriate property name in the drop down menu for "Company :Location".
2. Next select "New Case".
3. Next select the appropriate "Case Reason", and "GMI Division" in the drop-down list. Then fill in the appropriate boxes below.
4. Next in the "Comments" area type in the detailed message information and expectations related to the CASE that you would like to communicate to GMI.
5. Last select "Submit Case" and you are done. You can either logout or view your existing cases.
note: click the cancel button to avoid logging the new case. If you submit a case in error, please contact your GMI Quality Assurance Manager as we may commence work on the case immediately.
To view the status of your existing CASES:
1. When you log in to the GMI CARe™ system, it will automatically display all of the CASES for your properties.
2. To view only one specific property's CASES, select the property name from the drop down menu "Company Location". Then select the appropriate "Status" from the drop down menu, of the CASES you would like to view.
3. To view a CASE, select the "View" button next to the appropriate CASE Number. When you are finished viewing the case select the "Done" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
4. All CASES are color coded by status, see the status options below.
The status of all CASES are color-coded for easy viewing.
Pending Case(White/Gray)
Customer has entered a CASE and the CASE is waiting for customer service to view it.
Open Case(Yellow)
CASE is currently being worked on by Customer Service
Requires Customer Approval(Red)
CASE requires billable authorization from the customer.
Closed Resolved/Unresolved(Green)
CASE has been closed by Customer Service
