GMI Building Services, Inc. Carpet Cleaning

Carpets will be cleaned using a method that is most recommended for you facility. An additional option is to set up a Carpet Appearance Maintenance Program. Carpets may be cleaned by request or we may provide you with a recommendation. We employ various methods in order to meet the needs of your facility.

Among these methods are:

For our carpet extraction program GMI employees the use of Scout Systems products.  Scout is a leader in the latest chemical technology and formulates solutions to provide cleaning professionals effective, hard-working chemicals that will not harm the user, the building occupant or the environment.  Each of their chemical solutions are tested against a “Chemical Design Criteria” to assure users that they are getting the best possible product.

Testing conducted by companies such as The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, many of our nations largest and most recognized universities, as well as GMI, have yielded superior results in comparison to all other major carpet cleaning chemicals.  These superior results are the result of unique formulations which are both pH neutral and fully biodegradable in 28 days (the toughest test for biodegradability).  They are also free of butyls, phosphates, optical  brighteners and d'limonene, which may cause damage to carpet with long term use.
