Toddler Rescued by Local Security Officer
Volume 1, Issue 3

San Diego, CA Local Homeowners Association debated for years over the decision to hire a security guard for the residential community pool area during the busy summer months. Finally, after many long meetings, number crunching late into the night, they made the decision to hire Guard Management, Inc. private security services. Just two days after being on post, the drowning of a child was prevented by the newly appointed security officer.
Erin Willis-Demler, a Guard Management, Inc. security officer, saw a toddler fall into the community pool. In full uniform and without hesitation, Mrs. Willis-Demler jumped into the pool and pulled the two year old child from the water. The toddlers family was obviously very thankful of Officer Demlers quick thinking and decisive action, which allowed her to save the life their beloved child. Tonight the alert action of the GMI security guard saved a two year old from serious or worse injury (Board Member, Terra II Homeowners Association).
Due to Officer Erin Willis-Demlers rapid response, another tragedy has been prevented. Guard Management, Inc will be awarding the officer a Meritorious Service Award.
